How is MDSA different from most other Softball House Leagues?
We've listened to you! This is not your average House League Association!
MDSA creates a new and different experience for House League softball in Markham. It will be unlike any previous experience your daughter has had playing the game. Our approach is to take the time to give your daughter the skills she needs to play and most importantly, improve in the game of softball. Other House League Associations, in our experience, focused on a single weekly game without dedicated instruction for the players, limiting their development and ultimately their enjoyment of the sport. We strongly feel that this format left players unfulfilled, disengaged and often bored.
How will MDSA change this?
Each week, MDSA coaches will provide quality training, focusing on techniques needed to help your daughter increase her softball knowledge and skill level - empowering her play the game with confidence!
MDSA's summer sessions will include time for a drills, teaching players something new and useful. There will be a little less focus on playing the House League games in favour of taking the time to teach new and returning players how to play the game properly and improve themselves in the sport. We believe this will result in a more competitive House League over the course of the season and produce better players at the end of the summer.
We hope this novel approach to House League, that MDSA will deliver, is the experience you've been waiting for! We hope to see you on the diamond!
