OUR MISSION
Markham District Softball Association (MDSA) is a new softball association in the City of Markham. We aim to engage the youth of our community through the healthy activity of playing the sport of Softball. We provide an opportunity to learn and appreciate the game and we encourage the development of not only softball skills but important life skills. Our goal is to provide quality softball instruction in a safe, positive and nurturing environment. We strive to teach young athletes to be their best and to be successful on and off the diamond. We hope, through the experience with MDSA, that our athletes will develop an appreciation for physical conditioning, healthy life choices, self-discipline, responsibility, accountability, self-esteem, pride, integrity, teamwork and sportsmanship. Most important: Our members strive to ensure each player has a fun, enjoyable and memorable experience learning and playing softball within MDSA. Through transparency and honesty, our purpose is to improve the overall experience for players, parents and coaches which will create a culture that not only attracts player and volunteer participation, but keeps them coming back year after year.
